Epstein’s Ex-Partner Reveals Truth on His Suicide

(MENAFN) Ghislaine Maxwell, who was closely linked to Jeffrey Epstein as both his confidante and associate, has expressed doubt that the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender took his own life while imprisoned.

Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year sentence for trafficking women—including a minor—to Epstein, was questioned by the Department of Justice last month amid renewed scrutiny of the case.

In a transcript made public on Friday, Maxwell told investigators, “I do not believe he died by suicide, no.”

She rejected the notion that an external party could have orchestrated a “hit” on Epstein, further explaining, “If it is indeed murder, I believe it was an internal situation.”

When probed about whether Epstein might have been targeted due to possession of damaging information on influential individuals, Maxwell responded, “I do not have any reason to believe that. And I also think it’s ludicrous.”

She added, “If that is what they wanted, they would’ve had plenty of opportunity when he wasn’t in jail.”

Additionally, Maxwell refuted claims that Epstein was involved in blackmail or maintained a “client list” connected to sex trafficking.
