Ivans Index October 2025 Results Released
Commercial lines renewal rates show continued month-over-month variability; all up year over year except Workers’ Compensation
Chicago, IL., Nov. 12, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ivans® today announced the October 2025 results of the Ivans Index™, the insurance industry’s premium renewal rate index. Year over year, Commercial Auto, BOP, General Liability, Commercial Property and Umbrella experienced increasing average premium renewal rates, while premium renewal rates decreased for Workers’ Compensation. Month over month, BOP, General Liability, Commercial Property and Umbrella experienced increases in premium renewal rate change, while Commercial Auto and Workers’ Compensation saw decreases.
Premium renewal rate change by line of business for October 2025 highlights include:
- Commercial Auto: 7.57%, down from 7.65% last month.
- BOP: 7.51%, up from 7.46% at the end of September.
- General Liability: 7.04%, up from September, which was 6.78%.
- Commercial Property: 7.61%, up from 7.11% in September.
- Umbrella: 9.22%, up from 9.12% in September.
- Workers’ Compensation: -1.53%, down from -1.32% last month.
